My Adventures in Kiwiland: Cave Party

The cave is in the middle of the outcrop...far far away

I had been hearing about this infamous cave on a beach that everyone hangs out and has bonfires at… There ended up being a couple people having the same birthday and they decided to have a joint cave party (480 and 519 was all invited… around 60 people total). When Martha, Dylan, Boomer and I arrived to Long Beach, our tent was already set up for us by the generous people that got there before everyone else. When we arrived it was still pretty light out, so we could see the magnificent cave that extended pretty far back until you had to start crawling. For 3 or so hours there were only about 20 people there, and then around 9-10pm there was all of a sudden around 60-70 people there… it was insane to say the least! The party lasted for about 3 or 4 hours, there’s always that bunch that never go to bed, but mostly everyone went to bed in their tents or outside in their sleeping bags. Everyone woke up at 8, cleaned up and headed up... it was over just as fast as it began :(
